This Egypt 50 Pound banknote was issued by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2017. It comes in a combination of green, purple, yellow, and orange. Its obverse features the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo. The reverse of the note depicts a granite statue of Ramesses II holding a crook called heka, from the Museo Egizio in Turin in Italy. It also shows a carving of Ramesses II in a battle, a prow of a reed boat, and the name of Ramesses II in a cartouche. The banknote is 135 x 70 mm in size and has a watermark that reveals the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon. It also carries the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer. This paper bill is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
