This uncirculated 50 Egyptian piastre banknote is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Central Bank of Egypt. It is a green, purple, yellow, and orange banknote that is dated 03 January 2017, bears the signature of Tarek Hassan Amer, and measures 135 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Al-Azhar mosque in Cairo. Its reverse side depicts a carving of Rameses II in battle, stylized papyrus flowers, a reed boat prow, and the name of Rameses II in a cartouche. Security features include a denomination registration device, a serial number that starts with the prefix number 326, and a watermark of the mask of King Tut-Ankh-Amon.
