The Egypt 50 Pounds with a pick number P-66l.2 is in black, brown, and purple color combinations. Issued and printed by the Central Bank of Egypt 2012, the note is designed with the Amir Quijmas al Ishaqi Mosque on its obverse. The reverse features a pharaonic boat, a winged sun disc and snakes, the architectural columns found at the Edfu temple, and a winged scarab thrusting a sun disc. The 160 x 70 mm banknote comes with a registration device in the form of the eye of Horus. Additionally, it has security thread and watermark varieties.
