The Egypt 50 Pounds was released by the Central Bank of Egypt in 2013 with a pick number P-66. The banknotes obverse features on its left the Amir Quijmas al Ishaqi Mosque standing in Cairo. The reverse of the note depicts a pharaonic boat, a winged sun disc that comes with a snake, architectural columns of the Edfu temple, and a winged scarab pushing a sun disc. The 160 x 70 mm paper note bears the eye of Horus for its registration device. This replacement banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authentication.
