The Equatorial Guinea 500 Francs Banknote was issued by the issued by the Bank of Central African States in 1985. The banknote is predominantly orange and brown. Its obverse side depicts a carved wooden ancestral figure with an offering bowl on its head and a vase. Its reverse side depicts a seated man carving a mask and different wooden artifacts. Though the banknote does not have a security thread, it has a watermark that shows a carving of a seated figure. It is 150 mm x 75 mm in size and is signed by Casimir Oye Mba and Jean-Francois Ntoutoume Emane. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
