The Erfurt 50 Pfennig Notgeld is part of the emergency series issued by the City of Erfurt in the Prussian Province of Saxony in 1921. Featured on the obverse of the banknote is the denomination and German print. The reverse of the paper bill portrays Martin Luther and a Monk. The banknote does not bear a security thread, however, it has a watermark that reflects waves. It is 90 x 70 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
