Eritrea 1 - 100 Cents, 6 Pieces Coin Set, 1991, KM # 43-48, Mint

The 1-100 Eritrean cent coin set is composed of the six round, nickel-clad coins produced by the State of Eritrea. Each coin features an African animal endemic to the state, the STATE OF ERITREA 1997 and the denomination in numerical and written form on the obverse side. The reverse side of the coins depict the same image: soldiers waving the Eritrean flag in victory, with the words LIBERTY. EQUALITY. JUSTICE. 1991 written above, celebrating the independence of Eritrea from Ethiopia. The coins have varying sizes, edges, and weights.
