Eritrea 1 Nakfa Banknote, 1997, P-1, UNC, TAP 60-70 Authenticated

The Eritrea 1 Nakfa with a pick number P-1 was released in 1997 by the Bank of Eritrea. The banknotes obverse bears Arabic, English, and Tigrinya text and features Eritrea soldiers raising the flag of Eritrea Peoples Liberation Front. The reverse of the note is in English and depicts children studying outside the classroom. A camel and the bank logo are also visible. The 140 x 70 mm note comes with a camel as its registration device, a solid security thread with BANK OF ERITREA print, and a watermark that shows the head of a camel. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and is TAP authenticated.
