Reviews:

This Eritrean nakfa banknote is part of the first series of banknotes issued by the Bank of Eritrea in 1997. The family of notes was designed by Clarence Holbert of the US Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). The obverse side contains a colored image of Eritrean fighters raising the EPLF flag, and a triptych portrait of three children from Eritreas nine nationalities. Its reverse side shows schoolchildren studying outside the classroom, and the Bank of Eritrea logo. The note has a solid security thread, a camel registration device, and a camel head watermark. The note was demonetized in January 2016.
