This uncirculated 10 Eritrean Nakfa note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Bank of Eritrea. It is a dark brown, black, and green note that is dated 24 May 1997, bear the signatures of Isaias Afewerki and Tekie Beyene, and measures 140 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features Eritrean fighters raising the EPLF flag, and a triptych portrait of three young women. Its reverse side shows a train on the Obel River bridge near Massawa, a bank logo, and a holographic stripe. Security features include a solid security thread printed BANK OF ERITREA, a camel registration device, and a watermark of a camel head. This note was demonetized in 2016.
