The Estonia 5 Krooni Banknote was issued by the Bank of Estonia in 1994. It is predominantly brown and bears Estonian text. The obverse features Grand Master chess player Paul Keres and a chess board with a pawn, holding a sword and a shield, battling a knight mounted on a horse. It also shows the bank logo and a stylized cornflower. The reverse depicts the Narva Hermann Castle, the Narva River, and the Ivangorod Fortress. The banknote contains a solid security thread with printed EESTI PANK, It also has a watermark that reveals three lions. The banknote is 140 x 69 mm in size and is signed by Siim Kallas and Raimund Hagelberg. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
