This 20 Philippine peso note is an emergency circulating note that was issued by the Philippine National Bank in Iloilo City in 1942. Its obverse side contains the Philippine National Bank seal, the denomination, and a picture of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Franklin Roosevelt signed the Treaty of Manila at the end of the Second World War, granting the Philippines independence. Its reverse side portrays a woman striking an anvil with a hammer in the center. The dimensions of the note are 159 mm x 72 mm. This note comes with a banknote folder and a Certificate of Authenticity from the American Numismatic Association.
