This specimen set comes with 4 pieces of uncirculated 1980-issued Fiji dollar banknotes in 1, 2, 5, and 10 denominations. Banknotes from this collection have the same dimensions of 156 x 67 mm and are in uncirculated condition. Although they vary in colors and reverse designs, they share the same design on the obverse, featuring the coat of arms of Fiji at the center and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II at the right. The front side of these notes also bears shells, tools, and artifacts in underprint. Additionally, the notes have a diagonal red SPECIMEN overprint on both the front and back. Printed by De La Rue, these notes were signed by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji Chairman David John Barnes and General Manager H.J. Tomkins.
