The 1 Dollar Fijian banknote from 1971 depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of Order of the Garter uniform, painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. Also added to the front design is the countrys national emblem and the signature of the chairman of the currency board, Wesley Barrett. The reverse side features a picturesque view of the Yanuca beach in Yasewa surrounded by trees and mountains. The note is 159 x 76 mm and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features. This Fiji 1 Dollar banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
