The Fiji 1 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Government of Fiji in 1971. Its obverse depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of the Order of the Garter uniform, painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. Also added to the front design is the national emblem and the signature of the chairman of the currency board, Wesley Barrett. The reverse side features a view of the Yanuca beach in Yasewa surrounded by trees and mountains. The note is 159 x 76 mm and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian’s head watermark. This Fiji 1 Dollar banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
