Its obverse side depicts a FIJI banner in the upper front, with two signatories signed by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji. Also added to the front design is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II and the country's national emblem. The reverse side features a picturesque view of the Yanuca beach in Yasewa surrounded by trees and mountains. The note is 159 x 76 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features. This Fiji 1 Dollar banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
