The 1 Dollar Fijian banknote from the 1980 series depicts a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. This limited-edition piece is printed with SPECIMEN in red overprint and measures 156 x 67 mm. Its front design features Her Majesty the Queen, shells, tools, domodomo as registration device, local artifacts in underprint, and the national emblem. On the reverse are a domodomo and shoppers in the outdoor produce market at Suva with cars and ocean liner in the background. The security features of the note include a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. This particular Fiji 1 Dollar paper bill has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
