The limited-edition specimen version of the Fiji 10 Dollar banknote from 1996 is marked with the word "SPECIMEN" in red overprint. Its front design features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a silver metallic ornament, a Kikau bird with flowers, a domodomo as a registration device, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features two standing men poling a bilibili raft with a seated boy in a thatched hut, a group of children playing on the river, and a village onshore with palm trees and mountains in the background. The domodomo and flowers are printed on the lower right. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features.
