This Fiji 10 Dollar banknote was released by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2011 with a binary serial number. The obverse of this purple banknote features Queen Elizabeth II, a duck dish or an I Buburau ni Bete, a Kaleidoscope foil star, and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse features the Grand Pacific Hotel building and cars in Suva circa 1914. In the background is Joske’s Thumb mountain and palm trees, and to the right is the bank logo. The paper bill is 141 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a registration device in the form of a domodomo or a canoe masthead, a 3-mm windowed security thread with a demetalized RBF and a domodomo, and a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head, an electrotype 10, and Cornerstones. This note bears the signature of Barry Whiteside and is in about uncirculated condition.
