The Fiji 100 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2013. The obverse of the yellow banknote features a Buli Kula or a golden cowrie necklace, a cicada insect, and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse of the paper bill depicts two women singing and a man playing the guitar, the map of the 180 meridian, two snorkelers, a sailing ship, a fish, and the bank logo. Security features of the banknote include a holographic stripe, a 3-mm windowed security thread with a demetallized RBF and domodomo, a registration device forming a domodomo or a canoe masthead, and a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head, an electrotype 100, and Cornerstones. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. The banknote has also been through Banknote World’s TAP authentication process.
