The Fiji 100 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2013. The obverse of the yellow banknote features a Buli Kula or a golden cowrie necklace, a cicada insect, and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse of the paper bill depicts two women singing and a man playing the guitar, the map of the 180 meridian, two snorkelers, a sailing ship, a fish, and the bank logo. Security features of the banknote include a holographic stripe, a 3-mm windowed security thread and a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head, an electrotype 100, and Cornerstones. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Barry Whiteside. This particular banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
