The Fiji 2 Dollar banknote from 1971 is part of the 1969 - 1971 Decimalized series. Its front design depicts the country's national emblem and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in Regalia of Order of the Garter uniform, painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. The reverse side features a rosette and geometric patterns with the denomination in the center. The note is 159 x 76 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features. The banknote was signed by the chairman of the currency board, C.A. Stinson. This 2 Dollar Fijian banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
