The Fiji 2 Dollar banknote from 1988 is part of the 1986 - 1995 series. Its obverse side features local artifacts in underprint, shells, tools, a domodomo as registration device, the national emblem, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse side features a train loaded with sugarcane, two men with machetes cutting sugarcane in the field, and a domodomo. The security features of the note include a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size.
