The Fiji 2 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1988. It has a color combination of green, yellow, and light blue. Featured on its obverse is the coat of arms of Fiji and Queen Elizabeth II. Shells, tools, and artifacts are also visible in the underprint. The reverse of the paper bill depicts a train full of sugarcane and two men in a field, cutting sugarcane with their machetes. The banknote comes with a solid security thread and a watermark that reveals the head of a Fijian. It also has a registration device in the form of a domodomo or a canoe masthead. It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Savenaca Siwatibu. This particular banknote is in used condition and has been TAP authenticated.
