The Fiji 2 Dollar Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1996 with a low serial number. The note has a color combination of green, blue, and orange. Shown on its obverse is a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. It also features a kaka bird perched on a branch, a silver metallic ornament, and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse depicts a flower, palm trees, and five Fijians wearing native clothes. The note contains a windowed security thread and a watermark that reflects a Fijian’s head. It also bears a registration device in the form of a domodomo (canoe masthead). It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is signed by Jone Yavala Kubuabola.
