The Fiji 2 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1996. It has green, blue, and orange colors and dimensions of 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a Kaka bird perched on a branch, a silver metallic ornament, the Fijian coat of arms, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. Its reverse side depicts five Fijians wearing native clothes on a beach. This paper bill comes with a windowed security thread, a registration device in the form of a domodomo or a canoe masthead, and a watermark that shows a Fijians head. The banknote was printed by Thomas De La Rue and bears the signature of Jone Yavala Kubuabola. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
