The Fijian 5 dollar banknote from 2007 is part of the 2007 to 2011 issue that featured an updated portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Its a 136 x 67 mm in size banknote and includes a holographic stripe and a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo as part of its security features. An image of a Fijian head, electrotype 5 and Cornerstones is visible when you placed the note under a UV light or if held up against the light. On the obverse is a salt basket called Kato ni Masima, a domodomo registration device and the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse side features a Fijian crested iguana, a masiratu flower and balaka palm tree. The Bank of Fiji logo is at the lower right.
