This used 5 Fijian dollar banknote was introduced by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji in 1974 and signed by David John Barnes and Robert Earland. It has orange and purple colors and dimensions of 159 mm x 76 mm. Its obverse side features the Fijian arms in the center and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in the regalia of the Order of the Garter. Its reverse side contains English text, a rosette, and geometric patterns. Security features of the note include a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. The note was withdrawn in 1987.
