The Fiji 5 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji in 1980. The specimen banknote has hints of orange, brown, purple, and yellow. Featured on its obverse are shells, tools, and artifacts in the underprint, the coat of arms of Fiji, and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse of the paper bill depicts fish, a catamaran, a sailboat, and a group of men in water holding a circular net. The banknote’s security features include a solid security thread, a registration device in the form of a canoe masthead (domodomo), and a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head. It is 156 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition. It has also been TAP Authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
