The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote was released by the Central Monetary Authority of Fiji in 1986. It comes in a combination of orange, brown, purple, and yellow. Featured on its obverse is the coat of arms of Fiji and Queen Elizabeth II. The back of the paper bill depicts a catamaran, a sailboat, and a group of men in water with a net. The banknote measures 156 x 67 mm in size and bears a solid security thread and a watermark that reflects a Fijian head. It is also signed by Savenaca Siwatibu and David John Barnes. This paper bill bears a repeating serial number and is in used condition. Additionally, it has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60 to 70.
