The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote is part of the 1995 issues of the Reserve Bank of Fiji. It has hints of reddish-brown, orange, and green. The banknote’s obverse features Queen Elizabeth II, a Bunedamu bird perched on a branch, a silver metallic ornament, and the coat of arms of Fiji. The back of the paper bill features the Nadi International Airport with baggage carts and maintenance vehicles servicing four passenger planes: Lockheed L-1011 Tristar, Boeing 767, and two Boeing 747. A catamaran ferry and flowers are also shown. The paper bill is 156 x 67 mm in size and bears a windowed security thread, a Fijian head watermark, and a canoe masthead registration device. This paper bill also carries the signature of Governor Jone Yavala Kabuabola and is in about uncirculated condition.
