The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2002 bearing a repeating serial number. Its obverse side features Queen Elizabeth II, a Bunedamu bird perched on a branch, a domodomo (canoe masthead) as a registration device, a silver metallic ornament, and the country’s national emblem. On the reverse is the Nadi International Airport with baggage carts and other maintenance vehicles servicing four passenger planes in the center while the catamaran ferry, domodomo, and flowers are printed on the lower right. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and contains a wider windowed security thread with a demetallized RBF and domodomo. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a Fijian head. This particular banknote is in uncircular condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
