The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2002. The specimen banknote bears a red SPECIMEN overprint on its obverse and reverse. Its obverse side features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a Bunedamu bird perched on a branch, a silver metallic ornament, and the national emblem. On the reverse is the Nadi International Airport with baggage carts and other maintenance vehicles servicing four passenger planes. It also shows a catamaran ferry, a domodomo, and flowers. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and contains a windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo. It also has a domodomo registration device and a watermark that reflects a Fijian’s head. This specimen banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70 and is in uncirculated condition.
