The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote from 2011 is part of the 2007-2011 series. Its printed with a design aiming to highlight the country's local Fijian and Fauna. The obverse side of the note features a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, a Kato ni Masima salt basket, a domodomo as a registration device, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. On the reverse is a Fijian crested iguana found in the dry forest of the Fijian archipelago and a native masiratu flower and balaka palm tree. The bank logo and domodomo are also added to the back design. The note is 136 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would reflect a watermark image of a Fijian head, electrotype 5, and cornerstones.
