Reviews:

This Fiji 5 Dollar banknote is part of the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s 2013 issues that highlight Fijian fauna and flora. This is the world’s first banknote to be printed on De La Rue’s polymer substrate, Safeguard. Featured on the obverse of this green paper bill is a kulawai or a red-throated lorikeet bird perched on a tree branch. It also reflects a Kato ni Masima (salt basket) and the Fijian emblem. The back of the banknote depicts a Fijian crested iguana, a balaka palm tree, a masiratu flower, and the bank logo. While the note doesn’t have a security thread, it carries a watermark that reveals a shadow image of a Fijian head. It is also equipped with a registration device that forms a domodomo (canoe masthead). This paper bill is 136 x 67 mm in size and is in uncirculated condition.
