The Fiji 5 Dollar banknote printed with SPECIMEN in red overprint is a limited-edition piece from the 2013 series. It has a 7-digit serial number with a 3-letter prefix and features a Fijian Fauna. Printed on the obverse side is a kulawai bird perched on a branch, a Kato ni Masima salt basket, a domodomo as a registration device, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. Its reverse side features a Fijian crested iguana, a balaka palm tree, a masiratu flower, a domodomo, and the bank logo. The note is 136 x 67 mm in size and does not contain any security threads however when placed under a UV light, a watermark shadow image of a Fijian head is visible.
