This used 50 Fijian cent note is a standard circulation banknote issued by the Government of Fiji as part of the first decimalized banknotes in 1969. It is a green, light blue, and pink note that bear the signatures of Harry Parker Ritchie and David John Barnes, and measures 159 mm x 66 mm. Its front side features Queen Elizabeth II in the regalia of the Order of the Garter and the coat of arms. The reverse side shows an aerial view of a thatched hut near the harbor with the mountains in the background. Security features of the note include a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. This note was withdrawn from circulation in 1976.
