The Fiji 50 Cents banknote is part of the 1969 Decimalized series. It featured a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of Order of the Garter painted by Italian artist Pietro Annigoni. The coat of arms of Fiji, and the signatures of the chairman of the currency board, Ritchie and Barnes, on the front design. Printed on the reverse side is a thatched house surrounded by palm trees and a harbor with mountains in the background. The note is 159 x 66 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark to enhance its security features. This Fiji 50 Cents banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
