The Fiji 50 Cents banknote was issued by the Government of Fiji in 1971. It features Pietro Annigoni’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II wearing the regalia of the Order of the Garter. It also shows the coat of arms of Fiji. The reverse side depicts a thatched house surrounded by palm trees and a harbor with mountains in the background. The note is 159 x 66 mm in size and contains a solid security thread and a Fijian head watermark. It also bears the signatures of Harry Parker Ritchie and David John Barnes. Fiji 50 Cents banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70 and is in uncirculated condition.
