This 50 Fijian dollar note is in about uncirculated condition. It was introduced by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1996. It bears the signature of Reserve Bank of Fiji Governor Ratu Jone Kubuabola and has red, orange, and green colors and dimensions of 156 mm x 67 mm. Its obverse side features a flying Kacau bird, Queen Elizabeth II, flowers, the Fijian coat of arms, and an embossed patch. Its reverse side features a flag raising ceremony, the Cession Stone in Ovalau, flowers, and six seated men signing the deed of cession in 1874. Security features of the note include a domodomo registration device, a windowed security thread, and a Fijian head watermark.
