The Fiji 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 1996. Its obverse features Queen Elizabeth II, a flying Kacau bird, flowers, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features soldiers with rifles at the flag-raising ceremony, a Cession Stone with a plaque on Ovalau, and six seated men signing the deed of cession in 1874. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and bears a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head, a windowed security thread, and a domodomo registration device. It is also signed by Jone Yavala Kubuabola. This banknote is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70.
