The Fiji 50 Dollar banknote printed with SPECIMEN in red overprint is a limited-edition piece from the 1995-1996 series. Its obverse side features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a flying Kacau bird, a domodomo as a registration device, flowers, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features soldiers with rifles at the flag-raising ceremony, a Cession Stone with a plaque on Ovalau, and six seated men signing the deed of cession on the table in 1874. A domodomo and flowers are also printed on the lower right. The note is 156 x 67 mm in size and is equipped with a Fijian head watermark and a Windowed security thread to enhance its security features. This particular 50 Dollar Fijian paper bill has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
