Its obverse side features a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a flying Kacau bird, a domodomo as a registration device, flowers, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features soldiers with rifles at the flag-raising ceremony, a Cession Stone with a plaque on Ovalau, and six seated men signing the deed of cession on the table in 1874. A domodomo and flowers are also printed on the lower right. The banknote is 156 x 67 mm in size and bears a Fijian head watermark and a windowed security thread.
