The Fiji 50 Dollars Banknote was issued by the Reserve Bank of Fiji in 2007. Its obverse features Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, a whale’s tooth necklace called Wasekaseka, a holographic turtle, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side contains nine men performing a ceremonial tradition called Yaqona and Tabua in an exquisitely crafted mat called Fijian masi. It also shows a palm tree, a bure hut, and a mountain in the background. The is 151 x 67 mm in size and contains a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and a domodomo, a watermark that reveals a Fijian’s head, an electrotype 50, and Cornerstones. This Fiji 50 Dollar banknote has been TAP authenticated with a grade of 60-70 and is in uncirculated condition.
