The 50 dollar Fiji banknote that was issued in 2007 featured a portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Its size is 151 x 67 mm and contains a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo as part of its security features. When placed against the light, an image of a Fijian head, electrotype 50, and Cornerstones is visible. The obverse side of the note features a whales tooth necklace called Wasekaseka, a domodomo registration device, a holographic turtle, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side contains nine men performing a ceremonial tradition called Yaqona and Tabua in an exquisitely crafted mat called Fijian masi. A palm tree, bure hut, and a mountain served as the background. The Bank of Fiji logo is positioned on the lower right section of the banknote.
