The Fiji 50 Dollar banknote printed with SPECIMEN in red overprint is a limited-edition piece from the 2007 series. Its 151 x 67 mm in size and contains a holographic stripe and a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would show a Fijian head, electrotype 50, and cornerstones. Its obverse features a whales tooth necklace called Wasekaseka, a domodomo registration device, a holographic turtle, and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The backside of the note features a ceremonial tradition of the Yaqona and Tabua. Nine men can be seen doing the ceremony in a beautifully crafted mat called the Fijian Masi. A picture of a palm tree, a bure hat, and a mountain are in the background. The Bank of Fiji logo is located at the lower right of the note. This 50 Dollar Fiji banknote has been TAP authenticated and is in uncirculated condition.
