The Fiji 50 Dollar banknote that features the local flora of the country was issued in 2013 with a size of 151 x 67 mm in dimension. A holographic stripe and a 3-mm windowed security thread with demetalized RBF and domodomo is part of the banknotes security features. When placed under a UV light or if held against the light, an image of a Fijian head, electrotype 50 and Cornerstones are visible. The obverse side of the note features a tagimoucia flower, a domodomo registration device, a whales tooth necklace called Wasekaseka and the Coat of Arms of Fiji. The reverse side features nine men in a beautifully designed rectangular mat called Fijian masi while doing the Yaqona and Tabua ceremonial tradition. A palm tree, bure hut and a mountain are on the background. On the lower right is the Bank of Fiji logo.
