This copper-nickel 6 Fijian pence is part of the first series of coins that featured the first portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The coin is in very fine condition. The obverse side, engraved by Cecil Thomas, features the side profile of a young Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse side, engraved by Percy Metcalfe, features a turtle. The coin weighs 2.82 g. It has reeded edges and a diameter of 19.5 mm.
