One of the oddly valued bank notes in the world, the 7 Fiji dollar bank note commemorates the Fiji rugby teams gold win at the 2016 Rio Olympics. The obverse highlights the rugby teams captain, Osea Kolinisau, as he runs with the ball. The obverse also has the Fijian flag and coat of arms, the gold medal, and the coach, Ben Ryan, sitting on the Sigatoka Sand Dunes. The reverse side features the whole Fiji Rugby 7 team wearing their gold medals, Prime Minister Josaia Voreqe Bainimarama and team officials. Its security features include a watermark of Savenaca Rawaca running with the ball and a windowed security thread. The gold medals glow under UV light. The bank note is 140 mm long and 67 mm wide.
