France 200 Francs Banknote, 1997, P-159b.2, Used

This 200 Francs Banknote from 1997 measures 143 x 80 mm. The obverse side of the note depicts a portrait of famous French builder Gustave Eiffel with an illustration of the Viaduc de Garabitrail railway arch bridge in the mountainous Massif Central region in the background. The reverse side features the base of the Eiffel tower with a view of the Champ-de-Mars and the dome of the Palais des Beaux-Arts in Lille, France. A watermark image of Gustave Eiffel is also made visible under UV light.
