The French Pacific Territories 1,000 Francs Banknote from 2014 depicts the beauty of flora and vegetation, fauna, sea fauna, and architecture design of the archipelago. The symbols at the lower left front are intaglio printed to allow the sight-impaired to distinguish the denomination by touch. Its obverse side features a parakeet bird as a registration device, a stingray, and a tortoise. Its reverse side features a flying Kagu bird, parakeet bird, white terns bird, and siapo cloth patterns. The note is 126 x 66 mm in size and is equipped with a solid security thread with demetalized IEOM to enhance its security features. Placing the note under a UV light would show a watermark image of Outrigger canoe and electrotype 1000. It is in uncirculated condition and has been TAP authenticated.
