This uncirculated 20 Gambian dalasi note is a polymer banknote issued by the Central Bank of the Gambia to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the coup d’etat led by Lieutenant Yahya Jammeh with the slogan “20 Years of Progress and Self-Reliance”. It is a green note that is dated 22 July 2014, bears the signatures of Basiru Njai and Amadou Colley, and measures 144 mm x 75 mm. Its obverse side features a crocodile, a carmine bee-eater bird, and a portrait of President Yahya Jammeh. Its reverse side shows the State House building in Banjul. Because the note is made of polymer, it does not have a security thread or a watermark.
